Happy New Year!

We started off my first new year at Grandma & Grandpa Coughlin's in Willits.  I can't quite understand what all the fuss is about;  Mommy, Daddy, Grandma & Grandpa, and all my aunts and uncles made me stay up really late yesterday while they drank stuff that made them act funny.  Then when I was about to fall asleep they started making a huge racket, with all sorts of scary noises and hugging each other and drinking more of that strange stuff in the bottles.  They also watched some kind of large ball sliding down a pole on TV, and some guy named Regis was spouting off a lot of nonsense about it.  Seems kind of pointless to me.  This morning everyone slept in late and complained about how their heads hurt.  I don't know why their heads hurt, because I didn't see anyone hit their heads.
